Kang the Conqueror is a fictional supervillain that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. In 2009, Kang was ranked as IGN’s 65th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has just made a new update to there slate of films. I believe though that after Phase 3 is up that Marvel will reboot the entire cinematic Universe. What better way to do that then to use a time travel villain like Kang the Conqueror. Marvel has extended it Phase 3 film into the year 2020. With dates on May 1st,July 10th and November 6th. One of these films will be the last film in Phase 3 and the last of the current Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also could be the beginning of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well. What a better way to end the MCU then an all out brawl with Thanos. The Time Gem could come into play here. That’s how everything gets rebooted.

With the recent news that Bryan Cranston has expressed interest in playing a Marvel bad guy a really evil bad guy. It came to me that maybe he could play Kang The Conqueror in a late Phase 3 film or an early Phase 4 film. Using the time element that Thanos has in the Infinity Gems could create an alternate reality and bam you have a new Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kang has been one of the Avengers big bad guys over the years. This would fit the bill imo if you were Bryan Cranston. He would be the new big bad guy in the MCU and Marvel could reboot and all is happy.

Marvel has pushed back its Phase 3 films so they can plan something big for 2020. This would be a perfect way to end Phase 3 and start Phase 4 or End Phase 3 all together. Whatever happens we have a long way to go before anything is settled. I myself look for ward to what Marvel/Disney have in store for all of us fans. I think Bryan Cranston and Kang would both fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point Only Time will tell.

Why Marvel hasn’t announced a Hulk stand alone Movie yet.

Mark Ruffalo and Marvel Entertainment studio head Kevin Fiege haven’t been very forth coming with any info on where and when Bruce Banner/The Hulk will show up next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you haven’t seen Avengers:Age of Ultron yet this will be a spoiler to you but, I know most people reading will have already seen the sequel to Avengers. After the huge battle on Sakovia where the Avengers thwarted the evil creation of Bruce Banner and Tony Stark, Ultron, The Hulk flies of in an Avengers Quinn Jet. Off to who knows where. Well maybe this article will shed some light on where and when he’ll show up again in the MCU.

Earlier this summer Mark Ruffalo said that Robert Downey Jr. told him he was gonna be in Captain America: Civil War the 3rd installment of the Captain America franchise. The film is based on the popular story line of the same name from Marvel Comics. Later Ruffalo said that things have changed and he wouldn’t appear in Captain America: Civil War do to future plans by Marvel Entertainment for his character The Hulk. A lot of people have speculated that The Hulk would meat up with The Guardians of the Galaxy. Just recently though Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn stated The Hulk wouldn’t appear in the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. This asks the question what was Ruffalo talking about when he said Marvel had future plans for his character but, he couldn’t say what Kevin Fiege had in store for his character.

Here is my speculation on what is going to become of Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Part of Marvels deal with the character of The Hulk is Universal still has some of the right to the character. This makes it hard for Marvel to do a stand alone film with the character. I believe Marvel is in talks to do 2 stand alone Hulk films. The first with be Planet Hulk and the second will be World War Hulk. The first take place after the events of Captain America: Civil War. The Hulk will ride out his Quinn Jet into outer space and rash land on some far off planet where he will eventually become the leader of the planet. Only after he has to fight his way to the top against a whole slew of monsters on the planet. He meats up with the Guardians of the Galaxy when they crash land on his planet. They are in his film he isn’t in there’s. This allows him and them to get back to Earth in time to help The Avengers fight Thanos in Infinity War Parts 1 and 2. The next two films directed by the brothers. Russo. The Infinity War Parts 1 and 2 with be the next Avengers films and be apart of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Once The Hulk is back on Earth he will take his frustrations on the Avengers in another Universal Pictures/Marvel Entertainment joint film called World War Hulk. Obviously The Avengers will try and control and keep The Hulk under supervision but it doesn’t work and The Hulk goes crazy and try’s to escape and ends up fighting an all out war with The Avengers and the world military forces. This will be the start of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After this who know what Fiege has in store for us. I for one can’t wait to see all these announcements and plans come to fruition. I think this is the most logical place for this character to go in his movies arcs.
